Agreed - I love him in all three movies you listed and you nailed it without even seeing it - he’s playing those exact roles in a squishy romance (won’t spoiler the angle if you know nothing about the plot) - it is just so incongruent and odd.

She’s lovely in it - he’s grotesque from the jump and it ruined any amount of effort the movie put into making me feel something by the end.

Can we talk about what an unbelievably creepy piece of 💩 Richard Gere’s character is in Autumn in New York?
