I refined the regex a bit so it’s on there now. Unfortunately #cdr brings up a lot of unrelated posts, so unless there are other obviously climate-related words in the post, better to use #carbonremoval or #carbondioxideremoval, as you tested. Thanks for helping improve the feed!

Is there a US-based commercial or academic lab I can send biochar samples to for random reflectance (inertinite) measurements?

All I have found so far is Fusinite, a commercial lab located in the UK.

WA is a hotbed for carbon capture research. What is it anyway? The concept of carbon capture, removal and storage is fairly simple, but in practice it's much more complicated and controversial.

Agreed, the vast majority are high-integrity - but as long as the market remains voluntary, a higher level of transparency (and accessibility) is needed from developers and registries

What if you could check ocean COβ‚‚ removal (CDR) efficiency anywhere in the ocean by clicking on a map?

Sci-fi book idea: The year is 2100. Global Warming has been reversed dramatically, far too much - atmospheric CO2 is down to 112 ppm and falling... The CDR Industrial Complex is unstoppably powerful will not be stopped.

Great to see. Although biggest questions about these methods are how are they ensuring the wood is coming from sustainably managed forests, and what very long-term monitoring is in place to ensure the blocks don’t get wet and degrade.
