Speaking of investment in cancer treatment…in just their first 7 months, this administration kicked more than 74K ppl out of active clinical trials, including cancer treatments, meaning if they were receiving treatment that may have been a cure it was just stopped and likely not available elsewhere:

Holy fuck, am I reading this correctly? Are they going to do a single-blind RCT (i.e., some babies will get placebo instead of HepB vax and their parents won't know)??? This seems insanely unethical, like Tuskegee levels of unethical public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2025-23245.pdf

In Alaska, pharmacists may independently prescribe and administer vaccines under Alaska Statute AS 08.80.168, so there is no requirement for the standing orders that are used in many other states to authorize pharmacists to prescribe a vaccine

Ok, I'll bite... did Squiggles II get a massage? I'm unfamiliar with frog lymphatic drainage techniques and am surprised at how desperate I am to know more about this "fix"

On raw milk
β€œI personally think that healthy adults should be able to accept the risk of choosing to drink raw milk, but that is just me. Healthy adults are allowed to bungie jump, so it is not the purvey of the state to eliminate all risk for pleasure. I also personally don’t drink much milk, and doubt I will ever drink raw milk,” Prasad wrote on his blog.

β€œI don’t drink milk, don’t even like it, but these people are such fear mongers,” Prasad said on Twitter. β€œI’ll happily drink a glass of raw milk. Let me know where to get one. ;)”

The ACA was cool because before the ACA EVERY SINGLE CHILD WITH CANCER hit their annual and lifetime limits almost immediately and were denied insurance for the rest of their lives and after the ACA that’s illegal.

Studies show that funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) contributed to 354 of 356 drugs (99.4%) approved by the FDA from 2010 to 2019. Recklessly slashing NIH funding will mean that patients will be waiting much longer for life-saving treatments.
