I recently had the pleasure of working with @gerardo.bsky.social, @tylersticka.com, and a few other folks from the @cloudfour.com team, and WOW what an absolute delight they are to work with!

@gerardo.bsky.social writes better docs than any dev I've EVER worked with!

BigCommerce is now a subsidiary of a new parent company named Commerce which seems backwards or I don’t understand what the word β€œBig” means.

YES. That was my immediate thought as well when I saw @tylersticka.com’s image. I recently picked up TotK again. It’s so good and also overwhelming.

The only way. Criminal sanctions for impoundment, close the rescission loophole, short budget windows in case Trump breaks the law anyhow.

Trump is now posting private mortgage documents from Adam Schiff, and I URGE people who have less self-control than Pavlov's dogs to EMPHASIZE that it is likely a crime for him to have accessed these docs, if you do post them.

From your home screen, swipe to the left until you run out of screens. You’ll find yourself on the App Library which is organized into squares of icons with titles like β€œRecently Added” and β€œSocial.” There is a search bar at the top. Tap into it to get an alphabetical list of all of your apps.

Follow up question about iOS App Clips. Do you have any installed on your phone right now? They are listed at the bottom of your App Library and have dotted lines around the icon.

Does anyone know of iOS App Clip examples that work well? Despite being an iPhone user, I think I’ve only encountered them once in the wild. I’m curious if others have different experiences.

No-one knows what anything means anymore, but...

Trump called for the resignation of Fed Chair Jay Powell around the time you might expect his staff to have shown him a preview of tomorrow's jobs numbers.

It would be illegal and unethical to even hint at such confidential info, but... y'know...

HTTP/2 had some problems that only appears after it was in the wild for a bit that HTTP/3 is supposed to address. I watched a fantastic presentation by Natasha Rooney at performance.now() a few years ago that did a great job explaining the queueing problems. www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCwz...

Paramount just paid Trump a bribe for merger approval. When Democrats retake power, I’ll be first in line calling for federal charges. In the meantime, state prosecutors should make the corporate execs who sold out our democracy answer in court, today.

Second, I wonder how brotli does in comparison to gzip with these small files. I've never tried to run brotli compression on my own machine. gzip is so much easier to test. :)

I always saw the value of this approach in the fact that if you could implement a caching (and cache busting) strategy, then the more modular pieces of the code would net out to a faster experience even if the total file size was slightly larger

Of course, implementing caching is its own challenge

@tylersticka.com passed this on this morning, and I had a couple of thoughts.

First, one of the hopes of reusing the same connection in HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 was that we reduced the network overhead enough to make modular code a reasonable alternative to bundling everything into a single file.

Because app devs don’t want to prompt people for reviews unless they like the app, they often ask, β€œAre you enjoying the app?” first.

Because I am in a hurry trying to get something done, I often respond β€œNo” to avoid the review... https://grigs.micro.blog/2025/06/26/because-app-devs-dont-want.html

It should be noted in every piece about Iran that even if the strike went perfectly, it will accomplish nothing more than Obama accomplished diplomatically. And Obama’s solution to the problem of Iranian nuclear capabilities did not come with any of the risks that we now face.
