Same. I remember seeing it at stores and in people's houses as a kid- that's the reason I had to pick this edition up (I already have the more recent reprint). I love the cover- I might even put it on the shelf facing out.

Four books; The World of the Dark Crystal art book, The Book of Alien (art and production book of the movie 1979), Kill Wolfhead graphic novel from the Incal universe, and the 1979 edition of Stephen King's Night Shift with the bandaged hand with eyeballs cover.

Killer haul from used bookstore in North Idaho. A lot of great movie related books I left on store shelf because I don't have room on mine.

EVEN STEVEN can create any weapon he needs to exactly match whoever he's fighting. So I did a series of drawings of ES with famous weapons from comics! They were a ton of fun!
They all sold out, but if you want to see 'em, I have a feeling they'll be in the book…

Only recently I've started doing stuff with ink wash and watercolor, so those pens have had years and years to get in. Poor Pentels and gel pens, I can't just grandfather them in either; they just go in the "not waterproof" box to be used for...whatever- digging holes, emergency tracheotomies, etc.

Was about to settle in for a busy work day when a tiny mishap now has me obsessed with testing and sorting out my entire inventory of black ink pens to weed out the ones that aren't waterproof. I don't care if it's just a pen for writing the grocery list, if it's not waterproof, IT'S OUT.

I hate these old Dems that either still believe (or are just trying to convince us) this is still all about making deals in the sauna or on the squash court with "fellow colleagues on the other side of the aisle." Scorpion and the frog over and over.

In case you don't already know: every product in US grocery stores has, on the price tag on the shelf, the cost of that item per ounce. This is quite eye-opening when you realize how often a 1/2 gallon container of something will cost more than if you buy 2 quarts.

All these politicians and public figures who've loudly and proudly become their worst asshole selves, thanks to Trumpism, probably haven't had a clean meal served to them in a restaurant in ages, so there's that.

Yes! I've been saying this all along. We need to make them question and be in doubt for the rest of their lives if the food they're served in public places is "clean" or been molested in some way.
