If you aren't doing new textures made by hand, give it the system shock remake style where you have low res textures and just add normal maps and such

No this controller is great for all sorts of stuff. FPS games were a ton of fun on it, there is still plenty of "main verbs" that can be useful for it

The only issue with fps games on GCN was the DPAD being absolutely ass

My only complaint is that X and Y should have a color and slight shape variation, for slight disambiguation. It's mostly only a problem in Mario party mini games where it requires quick reflexes AND the prompts are in world-space, but its something
