A tree dies in the forest
It's bark feeds fungi
It's hollows house a family
And a shrew sustains them.
Somewhere in Washington State, a tree is cut down and eventually becomes the art before you.
Though they all had a regrettable death, at least they had A Nourishing End.

We have to answer the call to whatever the universe asks. Again, I know it's small. We all have our small, important purposes and parts to play. To create, to support, to show up. We can all do these in our small ways, and we have to trust that following the bitter calls will lead to sweet.

It is so small. So small on this mysterious, beautiful Earth, and so small in the fcked up human world. But damn, it is big to me.
