If we turn all the existing bungalows into houses, where are we going to build new bungalows for those that need bungalows (ageing population), and will new bungalows be exempt from default planning permission rules?

Accessibility Factsheet
Not only is our population ageing, but there is also a growing Disabled population in the country.
Homes in England were not built with accessibility in mind. As a result of this, there is a huge gap between the number of Disabled people and the number of accessible homes.

Nutrient neutrality has not gone away. It has quietened as an issue because planning applications are not being made in the 74 local authorities still affected by it (after over three years). The challenge to opponents of the Nature Restoration Fund then is if not this and now then what and when?

TfL Non-Folding e-Bike Ban On Public Transport: WfW Position Statement
This ban disproportionately reduces Disabled peoples' mobility and without reasonable adjustments is discriminatory under Equality Act 2010.
A stark preview image, but TfL's non-folding #eBike ban on public transport will have a stark effect on the mobility options of Disabled people. Further, without reasonable adjustments, we believe the ban is discriminatory under the Equality Act 2010. wheelsforwellbeing.org.uk/tfl-non-fold...

Town and country planning work involves understanding, planning for and influencing the built and natural environment. Administrative processing work supports that town and country planning work. The administrative processing work is not in and of itself town and country planning.

Planning System Features: consistency in decision making; no such thing as precedent; every site unique. Consistency achieved through: unambiguous legislation; a plan-led system; clear policies. Differs from precedent claim: specific set/s of circumstances on unique site/s determines next decision.

Council trial to fine drivers who park on Swindon pavements
People with sight loss and wheelchair users are among those who find pavement obstructions hazardous.
Good on Swindon.
Space for pedestrians is limited in many areas and pavement parking sees more of our public realm dominated by vehicles. For some itβs a nuisance but for many it makes getting around their neighbourhood safely impossible.
