Also, I'm not anti music video. I'm pro music video. But if I'm not going to be watching it I want it to at least sound good and... be the whole song. Just very weird considering Youtube's been trying to get into the music streaming game for years.

Strangely, it always plays the album version of the first song no matter what (even if the thumbnail shows the music video), but then it's music videos for everything else. Backend is a mess!

I understand that Youtube is the video site, but I still find it fascinating that you can look up an album, it will have it as a playlist (awesome), but then you click on the playlist and all the singles are replaced by music videos (usually poor sound quality and radio edits).
