It's that apathy that allows me to get through most hiccups and stressful situations at work.
Of course if I fuck up badly (like I did a few months ago) I'll get upset but most else doesn't bother me.

Most people go through an awkward phase as early teens but mine started from birth and hasn't quite ended yet 😅 and I was reminded of that very often, especially at school lol
Couldn't have survived without becoming stronger. So now there's a lot I simply don't care about.

Coworker recently said that I'm "emotionally/mentally strong" and she wants to learn that from me and I....... don't know how to respond to that lmao

I mean. I guess I am. When you grow up looking the way I do you learn to be strong pretty quickly.

Bossman decided he didn't like the classical music the uni plays over the PA system during the day so he turned it off and has been playing jazz/blues etc on the office Bluetooth speaker lol
I appreciate it but I do end up randomly singing/dancing.

Weather app said it'd be about 18° or 17° when I leave work so I didn't bring a jacket/cardigan but when I looked just now it said 12° 🙃

Woke up this morning and it was 8° which I feel like was so unnecessary???? No need to be doing alla that.

I didn't realise people hated school uniforms so much lol
I remember someone saying they were disappointed in me and I was just like "who even are you" 😭😭

Randomly remembered that one time on jtwt when I was called everything but a child of God for saying that I don't think school uniforms are evil 😭

最近柿にハマってる。美味しい。ずっと食べてられる。

社会人9年目で(社会人になってからの)職場3つ目の私が新卒で入って社会人3年目の人と仕事して、私には向上心というのが全く無いことに気づいた😅
別に出世したくないし、色々研修してスキルアップとかあんま興味ない。参加しろって言われたらするけど。

最近は自炊再開したけど、山形に住んでたときとか、大阪のこの前の職場のときとか、なんでこれが毎日できてたか分からんわ
…と思ってたら、よく考えたらそのときは一人暮らしで毎回ちゃんとしたご飯は食べてなかった。お弁当はちゃんと作ってたけど、朝ご飯はスキップ(今もそう😅)で、夜はすごく適当だった。

でも今は私と夫の分で夜もちゃんと作ってる。あと、通勤が長くなって、自由時間が激減した。それでよく頑張ってるなって思う。

People "worried about culture" and blaming it on tourists and immigrants are generally just xenophobic and racist.

Tourists do not impact local culture lol

Since it's so hard for me to find clothes that fit in Japan I almost exclusively shop at H&M, but their fall colours this year seem to be black, cream and brown. I have a lot of black and cream already so I want different colours but I *am* brown so the brown clothes will make me look naked 😭

When issues can be rectified through simple actions that you simply refuse to take, you don't get to cry victim and act like the world is against you 🙄
Especially when this seems to happen repeatedly. Time to look at the common denominator.

If you're gonna kick up a fuss about your tasks then you need to take responsibility for them and do them in a timely manner. Otherwise don't complain 🤷🏾‍♀️

If you forgot or just didn't do it idk then you're in the wrong lol

Also I feel like (in this situation at our workplace) this only happens when something needs to be done but the person who was to do it was busy/forgot/whatever and it didn't get done.
And in that case, if you're too busy then be grateful that someone took that off your plate?
