The opportunity and ideas presented here are lovely. Not sure about how much I agree with taking away too many exam/GCSE courses as they lead to flexibility later in life and I believe each offer different skills rather than just knowledge retrieval, but I love the nano course ideas in this.

This post explores some further ideas on how to broaden the options available beyond the very academic focus we have now, but I think you could take it further and apply to the whole of secondary school not just the GCSE years. /end

Yes! Learning as the vehicle, personal development as the goal. It's highly likely that this kind of model for qualifications would also help to narrow the disadvantage gap and be far more useful than the existing Welsh Bac. #EduSky #Teachers #Curriculum #Education #CurriculumForWales #GCSEs
