(This is why I just say I'm from Buffalo. Technically inaccurate as I'm from a suburb that borders it -- my HS was 1.5 miles from the city edge -- but people have actually heard of the city, while few not from there would recognize the suburb)

Leading contenders for me are Bruce Almighty (Buffalo) and Canadian Bacon (Niagara Falls). The dotted red line outlines the suburb in which I grew up.

It is mildly disappointing that my house doesn't have a good place for a built-in shelving unit with a rolling ladder like Belle has. BUT, I do have a bookcase that conceals a hidden door, so I've got that going for me at least.

I should get rid of some of the cables.

I'll disagree that fights are rarely long in Homer. There are just pages and pages in The Iliad of "[person] fell thunderously and his armor clattered upon him" in a way that felt like a slog to get through, for me at least.

I ran into the problem of applying for some computational biologist jobs only to discover what they really meant was bioinformatics even though that was never in the job ad.

Still strongly disagree here because of the splash damage. You'll likely do more harm to other people unhappy about their own weight -- or who are personally fine with their own but are dealing with societal stigma based on it -- who see it than you will to Trump.

Confession: it's only been in the past few years I've actually appreciated cello music. I mean, I feel like I've always known who Yo Yo Ma was, and I feel like basically everyone who knows anything about classical music is familiar with Bach's Prelude in G, but there's a lot more out there.

Just a quick reminder that music doesn't have to be extremely complex to still be beautiful.

Pretty unlikely, to be honest. And there is some social benefit to mocking bad decisions made by powerful people -- public opinion can alter behavior of individuals whose wealth or power protects them in other arenas.
