Starting to understand those old, grumpy characters in apocalypse movies who hole up in their house, wanting to be left alone—until the hero barges in demanding help because it was their life’s work once, but the world broke them and they gave up. I get it now.

So well put. I loved it, it really answered a lot of questions I had in my own mind as an “imperfect ally. “ I think unfortunately that there will always be bigoted a-holes but I think the majority of people are just ignorant of the issue and this film really helps open the door to understanding.

I feel like this would be a good opportunity for Spirit Halloween to up its social media campaign and take advantage somehow.
