@luriedanielfavors.bsky.social the anti-black narratives are exhausting. I absolutely have heard mind boggling nonsense from some Black people, but largely Black folk I’m in community with see the danger. Damn! Those of us who voted didn’t vote for this yet will be disproportionately impacted.

@luriedanielfavors.bsky.social I don’t know. When I saw my now adult daughter jumping single 1 day many years ago. I had a crisis of failure as a Black mother. I never taught her how to jump DoubleDutch. I was ashamed. Yes, I taught her she had agency, came from a rich legacy of greatness, but… 😂😩

@luriedanielfavors.bsky.social I struggle with the calls for certain boycotts on a community and strategy level @ times. Like the NFL. I feel a way about the NFL & have thrown shade @ husband & others for engaging with it.😊 But this is a league of young Black men we should be engaging…
