For Renee Nicole Good
Killed by ICE. on January 7, 2026
by Amanda Gorman
They say she is no more, That there her absence roars, Blood-blown like a rose.
Iced wheels flinched & froze.
Now, bare riot of candles, Dark fury of flowers, Pure howling of hymns.
If for us she arose,
Somewhere, in the pitched deep of our grief, Crouches our power,
The howl where we begin,
Straining upon the edge of the crooked crater Of the worst of what we've been.
Change is only possible, & all the greater, When the labour
& bitter anger of our neighbors
Is moved by the love
* better angels of our nature.
Amanda Gorman wrote this poem for Renee Good and thatβs it for me tonight.

Poor health increases people's risk of homelessness and homelessness worsens people's health.
ICYMI: Last week we released a report on health and homelessness.
Using data from the largest U.S. representative study since the 1990s, it offers a detailed look at the connection between health and homelessness and provides research-backed recommendations.

Economists have spilled WAY too much ink debating and analyzing monetary policy to be silent at this moment.

This is just for undergraduate from the US. What about graduate applications from the US and perhaps more importantly, the diversion of applications from the US to the UK and other countries?

My naive hope is that it could prove the concept that streamlining is ok and can be expanded, but your point is a good one
