I think the shutdown just proves that our two-party system is completely and utterly broken and run by absolutely incompetent people at the top. I hope and pray that a sensible third-party will make a foothold that has to be bargained with and bring some sanity to this situation.

I would add that for my own country I am far more angry at one side over the other (I will let you guess which) but overall disappointed by both.
