Die Epstein-Files belegen: Extreme Vermögenskonzentration schafft unantastbare Parallelgesellschaften, die den Rechtsstaat zersetzen. Eine progressive Vermögenssteuer ist daher nicht nur legitim, sondern die demokratische Notwehr gegen eine zersetzende Parasitokratie.

Cannot reccomend this strongly enough. For me personally so many elements of fascism whenever it emerges in the world seem to have a seed in the fossil fuel economy, the outrageous lies of climate denial.

An excellent text why the "constructive" use of AI in university courses is more than limited. And another "funny" thing I just realized is that LLMs do everything and worse that poststructuralist thinking has been falsly accused for decades: establish a disconnect between language and materiality.

Exactly. So called identity politics and class politics go hand in hand. A good life for the many can only be created by acknowledging and embracing their empirical entanglement.

The most insanely frustrating thing about the #ClimateCrisis is how the breakthrough we so clearly need isn’t technological. It’s just a collective willingness, a determination even, to change in ways that would clearly be SO MUCH BETTER than the clear and obvious consequences of NOT changing.

I think I understand the many reasons why people believe it's not worth it to phase out fossil fuels, but I also feel exhausted and vaguely insane living my life knowing that while the world seems normal on the surface, the fossil-fuel economy is, right now, breaking the world forever.

Reminder: We spent YEARS reading thousands and thousands of articles on the Tea Party and how it was a true expression of the American people's will, and it never mounted anything nearly as big as Saturday's No Kings rallies. [1/3]

Examining our own behavior may also reveal the structural barriers to low-carbon living: inadequate public transport, meat-heavy food systems, fossil fuel subsidies, and norms that promote consumption.

Recognizing those barriers is the first step toward dismantling them.
