I get the worst imposter syndrome, especially playing drum set, so hearing that was the injection of confidence I needed.

chatted with my band's director tonight, and she complimented me on my playing and asked me, "why are you so good?" Guessed that I was a music major, said she likes when I play set the most because of my spot-on timing.

Bud Larson drains the indoor wading pool at Wirth Park used to house Loring Park's ducks over the winter. Swans are kept in another wading pool next door, and both pools are drained every day.

going to say this "non-partisan" mayoral forum was totally tarnished by the person near the front wearing an Omar Fateh shirt, who was not corrected after I brought it up to the organizers. if you're going to have a no campaigning rule, you need to enforce it.

They went over the "non-violence" statement every candidate agreed to and he has exercised great restraint; no "hanging to death" talk... Yet.

at every Minneapolis mayoral event, I am shocked to hear Charlie McCloud's accent, pls is it real?

but for real the U's vet staff are so kind, and honest, and I know that's not the experience for others but I feel like he's in good hands here, s/o to the U vets.

tonight I biked with some neighbor friends to the ward 1 LWV and man oh man do I just love SE Como and the folks that show up to things and try to make our little part of the city better.
