I feel like Tetsuya Nomura has been waiting 3 years for me to deliver on this project that I’ve been working on before giving us more news (apologies to y’all). Nomura, I WILL come through for you so PLEASE do what you can!

My crack at this is that many people’s self-identity/worth is unfortunately wrapped up in the things they personally like. They are forced to eternally take up arms and subdue any idea that threatens their self-concept because it hinges on their opinion being the ‘correct’ one.
