Had a blast at RomCon at the Westminster Public Library last night! Over 200 locals came to meet other readers, play bingo, make keychains, see a panel, and find new stories! Eight authors rocked it, meeting, greeting, and signing. I love this event SO much. #librarylove #books #reading #romance

International adventure, here I come! Heading to Berlin, Germany soon to do some writing research and knock out some projects. Aaaaand I have a book deadline before I go. No pressure...

Today I started packing to move overseas, and I put over 600 books into 13 boxes (some were very big boxes) to stay here and not come with me. It was emotionally taxing and made me realize...this is real. I'm really moving.

For someone who only saw an ocean once, I sure wrote two books about it. Decided to tag along on my bestie's cruise vacation to do some REAL research. Had a blast in Nassau and Half Moon Cay. Swam in ocean! Tasted it. It was gross.

ACTUAL MAGIC work update: We are partway through chapter 3 as we start. Our goal is the end of chapter 4. Anything extra is gravy. Our only interruption? French class. See you end of day. #amwriting

End of Day Update: Rewrote my way through chapters 1, 2, and part of 3. I have 17.5 chapters left to go! Did things improve? I think so. Found some good moments for character development. It felt SO GOOD to write as much as I did today, for as long as I did today.

Oh man, gonna have to get me one of these.

ACTUAL MAGIC Update: I am done with my first draft, and today I am starting to work on my second. I do a complete rewrite on the 2nd to keep my flow while I make changes. Let's see how far I can get with two meetings scheduled! #amwriting

Okay but reading that book under and around lots of trees is such a good choice.

JordanCon was amazing. I seriously love that show and the people I meet there. I love how much a good show energizes me, and motivates me. I finished writing my latest novel on the plane ride home! 🛩

Oh my gosh, it is so hard to put words down on paper sometimes. REALLY struggling with this last little bit of a novel, some panel shot lists for a comic, and finishing books I need to read before I go to JordanCon.
And kudos to yesterday's participants, ya'll are awesome.

I will be at JordanCon in Atlanta this next weekend (25th-27th) and I will have copies of all my books. I will not make it that far south again until October, MAYBE. Stop in to get my books while you can!

It's taken a lot of discipline and some intense therapy, and my productivity is way below where I want it. But that's life right now!

It has been SO HARD to write while the world burns down around me, not going to lie. I'm proud of me, today. 💕

Happy Trans Day of Visibility. I'm trans, and gender nonconforming. The past few months have been terrifying, but I am still here and still wearing hairbows. I can't stop being myself and reveling in my own joy. I just can't.

Aw!!! City of Night is amazing.

This hatred threatens my livelihood. It threatens my life. It threatens everything. And I can't stop. I was forced into conversion therapy. Didn't stick. If they couldn't torture it out of me, no one can. So, my only option is to be myself anyway, and find other ways to sell my books. End 🧵
