My focus has been all over the place this week, so I decided to take today off and make it another input day. Hopefully when I come back to the writing on Monday I will actually be able to make some good progress.

I think I was a little overwhelmed looking at the 5000 word goal on Cat in the Bakery 2 for this week. Once I broke it down into smaller chunks, it's been a lot easier to work toward. And now that they've talked to a few suspects, things seem to be coming together a bit better.

I was hoping after a day of 'input' today's output would be high. But, words have been coming slowly. Still, I have managed almost 1700 words today, even if it's taken me all day to get there. I'm hoping to add another 3300 to Cat in the Bakery 2 this week.

I spent this weekend working on Triple Play rewrites, so I'm taking today as more of an "input" day, so focused on reading and relaxing. And also playing around with making a map of the town for my Jax of All Trade series. I will probably get back to drafting Cat in the Bakery 2 tomorrow.

I ended up not getting much writing done yesterday. My focus was skipping all over the place. I have already written over 500 words this morning. I'm hoping to add more before lunch time. Once I get Cat in the Bakery 2 to 20k(less than 500 words to go), I'll switch to rewrites on Triple Play.

Went to a local AA baseball game yesterday and totally counting it as research(even though my characters play at AAA). Of course that meant I didn't get all my marketing done like I usually would on a Sunday, so I spent my morning doing that.

Hoping to get some writing done this afternoon though.

I've been breaking my larger goals for the day into smaller chunks to tackle, and that seems to be going pretty well. I've already finished one of them and am at least 75% through 2 more. So, I can start working in some side goals next.

Words didn't really happen yesterday as I was fighting off a headache. Today has definitely been better. Even with having to actually leave the house to get my new glasses.

And I attended a queer horror writing workshop and might, uh, have a new story idea(okay, just the characters for now).

I did finish the read through of Triple Play last week and was all prepared to dive back into drafting Around the Horn today. And the words just don't want to come.
I have found that Mondays can be a little slower, so I'll keep at it and see if things pick up tomorrow

I haven't gotten through as much of Triple Play today as I'd hoped to. But, I only have about 10% left to read through. So, I'm still hoping to get through it today.

And I have a cover for Wrapped Up in Murder.

Today has been mostly focused on reading through Triple Play. A little more than halfway in that. And I got first cover comps for Wrapped Up in Murder. Just a couple tweaks on that, I think, then I should have a finalized cover soon!

Not a lot of words written this morning. I know where I need to take the story, just couldn't seem to get the words to come. But, I've started the first read through of Triple Play this afternoon and already a little over 10% into it. So, that's some good progress at least.
