Mind you, I never touched FFXVI, just didn't really have the time, so for all I know it's got this energy too, but it sure didn't look it from the outside

It would not have been difficult for the game to be a soulless remake, just making things look visually pretty, and then printing money. But no, this thing is chock full of stuff that felt like somebody had fun making it

Been picking up FFVII Rebirth after a bit of a break, and man,I can't help but smile at how much it just feels like a game designed with, like, old FF ethos. And I don't even mean the parts that are literally from the original! It 's just a ton of fun
