I don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video.

I don’t know how we’ve gotten to the point where men in full balaclavas can abduct daycare teachers while they’re watching children.

But I do know that this isn’t sustainable. Abolish ICE. There is no way to reform this.

Think back to how you felt a year ago when Trump was reelected.

Now think about how you feel after last night's election.

You volunteered. You went to protests. You didn't check out.

You put in the work required for our democracy — and it's paying off.

Remember this.

They are not inevitable.

Remember this feeling and imagine how much better it could be in a year.

WE CAN DO THIS.

Celebrate today, but also, realize that we CAN win this in a year if we keep working at this. We can defang this administration, but WE HAVE TO KEEP FIGHTING. All of the big wins happened because people ORGANIZED and got out there. We can’t get complacent. Find something to do and KEEP GOING.
