The Most Efficient Traveler Isn’t a Bird or a Fish—It’s You on a Bike
A famous graphic, now updated, compares locomotion in the animal kingdom
“They turn humans into this hyperefficient terrestrial locomotor because they make being on land more like swimming.”

Reform’s Danny Kruger criticises UK’s ‘totally unregulated sexual economy’
Former Conservative laments divorce changes and says Reform UK will pursue policies to boost birthrate
Reform: There's too much state interference.
Also Reform: We will force you to marry, stop you getting divorced, make you have babies, dictate your religious beliefs, control your sexuality, penalise you if you are disabled and deport you if you don't look right.

These people are poison. They will unleash racist thugs on the streets of this country and call it security. They will subjugate us to the US and call it patriotism. They must be stopped. There is no more important task in politics.

Older houses quite often flood. Several examples in York, where they were purposely built close to the river for trade. Changes in the interim to rivers, catchments and climate mean they are now very flood prone

Power to you. GWR can't even coordinate its own train network. I invariably get to see the local train disappearing up the line as I arrive at Exeter from London. It literally leaves 2 minutes before we pull in.
