I mean, literally, the answer to this is "I am federally prohibited from telling you anything about my students without a subpoena or judicial warrant; if you have a subpoena or judicial warrant, please submit it to [Legal Officer/Office] to ensure it is in compliance with all relevant federal laws"

Just had a classic AAR/SBL experience of sitting in a corner to answer emails and do teaching/non conference work βfor a minuteβ and lifting my head 45 minutes later realizing itβs almost time for the next panel.

RRFs confirm a very bland back story w/ each other that they use like some form of temporarily induced witness protection ID to & from a conference

You're Dead to Me - Queen of Sheba - BBC Sounds
Join Greg and his guests to learn about the legendary Queen of Sheba.
In December I recorded a podcast with the folks at Youβre Dead to Me about the Queen of Sheba. The guest comedian, Sadia Azmat, was brilliantly funny and asked great questions that let me discuss ancient body hair removal practices and other fun topics. Check it out! www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/...

Dear Community,
It is with great sadness that I share with you the news of our beloved and esteemed professor, Dr. Gay L. Byronβs death. She fought valiantly and passed peacefully this morning. Please keep her sons, Lloyd and PJ, their extended family, her classmates, colleagues, and University community in prayer.
Up until last week, she was working on a monograph titled Hidden in Plain Sight: Ethiopic Manuscripts and Early Christianity, a major project funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The best way to celebrate and honor her is to be devoted to her love and passion which was her scholarship.
More details to follow.
Blessings,
Dean Gilbert
