In 2017, a State Rep gave a speech in the Capitol defending the incarceration of Japanese community during World War 2. Today, a group of Senators forcefully repudiated that and condemned any plan to use the Alien Enemies Act to perpetrate further act of cruelty and injustices.

History repeats itself. We cannot stay silent while the Trump Administration is reusing the Alien Enemies Act to round up and incarcerate immigrant and refugee communities, much like how the exact same law was used to round up and incarcerate the Japanese community during World War 2.

Received a hate mail today. My hater called me "Whore of Babylon" and I just think that is the coolest title ever.

You have my sympathy. My wife and I have been sick since last week with whatever latest germs that our toddler brought home from daycare.

My work is directly related to supporting my local community and pushing back against fear and disinformation. It is exhausting, but it is never more important than now.

Do you know why a president would do all the most evil and heinous shit via Executive Order? Because his party can't easily make it law. And if they can't make it law, they can't make it last.

Anyone who ever again suggests that the GOP is the party of the police or the party of law and order should be laughed out of the room. There has never been anything like this before in modern US history: the president pardoning people who we all saw on live TV assaulting police.

I'm willing to bet that he would totally change his tune if Trump said that he supports proxy voting.
