A comic. The scene begins at the checkout line in a Daiban grocery store. Our exhausted clerk stands behind the register in their apron and paper hat, their four antennae drooping. They have a round snout-like upper lip, defined cheeks not unlike a cartoon frog, and a soft, downy neck. The clerk is skinny in build. A rack of average grocery store snacks and knick-knacks sits on a shelf to the left of the clerk. In the second panel, the scene is the same as before, but a long shadow is cast over the humble clerk, whose antennae are now slightly raised. They look perturbed. It's Raven Beak from Metroid Dread. He's approximately 13 feet tall, draped in a long cape, and towering over the clerk in a rather imposing manner. His face is hidden behind an ornate helmet, his red eyes glowing in the darkness. The top of the clerk's head can be seen center-frame on the bottom of the composition. We get a top-down perspective as the terrified clerk gazes straight up at the imposing customer. Their black, beady eyes are large and wet. Their antennae droop pathetically, and they're sweating bullets. We cut back to a front-facing perspective of the clerk behind the checkout counter. The dramatic lighting has dissipated, and Raven Beak's groceries are sat on the counter in front of the clerk. We see a loaf of bread, some leafy vegetables, and a tall beverage bottle. Cooking wine, perhaps? The clerk's eyes bug out a little as they awaken from their trance of terror: the customer is addressing them. Raven Beak speaks in a deep voice: "This will be all. Shall we discuss the matter of compensation?" The clerk looks small beneath him as they answer his query: "Oh! Uh... 27 seguru for the lot." Suddenly, Raven Beak pulls his gargantuan arm cannon out from behind his cloak. The clerk's eyes nearly pop out of their skull as they seize in fright: "Yee-IKES!" The shadows upon the weapon are detailed: the dramatic lighting and dark background return.

Samus and Raven Beak from the Metroid series are discussing the grocery store fiasco. Raven Beak is unbothered, but Samus looks mildly annoyed. Samus says, "I've told you a thousand times, just use the card I gave you." To which Raven Beak replies, "There is no proper compartment on my power suit with which to safeguard such a trinket." Samus pauses before responding. "... See, this is part of the problem."

There is quite a bit of scarring around the eye on the visible left half of his face. Raven Beak is standing in front of a convection stove with an oven beneath it, facing the left side of the image. The fridge lies furthest from the viewer, on his left but in the center-background of the image for us. The subject holds one hand on his hip as he flips a juicy slab of meat and some vegetables in a skillet over the stove with the other. A large plume of steam emanates from the dish, featuring chopped carrots and cubed alien tubers with rice to make a tantalizing sauteed bed for the protein.

A combination of three images, all consisting of Chozo eggs. At the top lies a lineup of eggs from four different tribes. Starting from the left: the first egg is a blue Thoha egg, the second two are a cream and mint green Mawkin egg respectively (both with brown speckles), the fourth is an oblong Thiloo egg, and the last is a large, round Hatzu egg. These are typical examples of eggs from the aforementioned tribes: not all eggs from a given tribe look alike. In the middle of the image, we have the same egg types in a different orientation, also labeled: Two Mawkin eggs (cream/green) on the left, a blue Thoha egg top center, a blue Hatzu egg at the bottom, and an elongated Thiloo egg to the right. At the bottom, we see variants in Mawkin eggs. The eggs are varying shades of brown and cream, most with brown mottling, and a single wholly brown egg.

A naked baby Chozo. It very much resembles a real life baby bird, the primary difference being Chozo children have arms and wings. The children are tannish-pink in coloration with thin skin and a smattering of thin, wet natal plumage barely covering them. Their eyes are bruise-purple, as they have not yet opened. The corners of their beaks are malleable and yellow, but will change color to match the rest of their beak with time: for now, they are flexible enough for the infants to open their beaks as wide as possible for incoming food, be it meat chunks, insects, nuts, or bits of fruit. They look wet, pathetic, and naked.

A Thiloo Chozo hatchling. It's covered in a thick bed of grey down and has icy blue eyes that are just beginning to open. Its beak and extremities are black. This baby is lying on its stomach, legs splayed off to the side and wings curled against its torso. This is a very groggy child who would very much prefer to be sleeping.

Some notes: the Thiloo are a tribe of mostly penguin-like Chozo and the Hatzu are a tribe consisting largely of ratite-like Chozo.
