I am feeling torn on what to work on next. I can:
1. Possibly tackle a new original idea
2. Maybe try the exercise of writing something with pre-existing I.P.
3. Go back to rewrites on a feature I have been on break from the last few months

I’m rewatching Barbie and I simply do not understand how some people considered Oppenheimer better than this. I am sorry but Oppenheimer could have been adapted by a number of directors and been fine. I truly think only Greta, Noah, and Margot could have made a Barbie movie so ICONIC. #filmsky

Oh my gosh, so sorry! Their announcement schedule is awful. Most competitions post their schedule of ranking rollouts.
Last year AFF announced:
1. 2nd rounders first
2. Then Semifinals and those who didn’t make 2nd round. So essentially.

It’s so backwards

That’s possible. It was frustrating when I submitted 2 scripts, one I was told I was a 2nd rounder (then they marketed heavily. Goading to buy a ticket) and then left me hanging on another script. You’re wondering if you’re a semifinalist then boom, you find out you’re actually not a 2nd rounder.

Right!? One time with BL I went from a 7 (very close to 8) down to like a 5 when I knew for a fact I improved my pilot lol.

I entered 2 pilots last year and of the 2, I thought one was way better than the other (didn’t go anywhere) and the other was a 2nd rounder:
System makes no sense 😂

I got to a second round this year but honestly, I think they increased the number of second rounders in hopes of selling more tickets. Personally (unless you know someone down there to visit) I wouldn’t go unless I made the semifinals
