At my age, my mid-life crisis is pretty much passed it's expiration date.

I haven't had a manual transmission car in a long time, but I still remember how much more fun it is, how much more connected to the car you are.

If I end up having a middle life crisis, a manual transmission car might be part of it.

The first time that I parallel parked on a steep hill in SF with my manual transmission Ford Probe was one of the peak moments of my life. It was ten years after driver's ed and I absolutely nailed it.
