I trust you (and give you implicit permission) to kick me back into place, if I become the same shouty, angry bloke that is on every other medium; if you find that the pod, as a whole, consistently starts to leave you angrier and more despairing than when you started listening. It's not what I want.

I am a little worried, however, that in a couple of episodes in the last couple of months, I have let my frustration bubble through the calm nuance that is meant to be the podcast's philosophy. But rants like this just seem to EMIT from me at the moment.

By rights, Farage’s shilling for Putin should have disqualified him from UK politics. He knows it, and is now trying to spin what he has said previously.
