Opinion: U.S. Ambassador’s outburst is one more punch in the face from the neighbourhood bully Pete Hoekstra’s aggression toward David Paterson underlines how obnoxious and abusive the Trump administration has become

“His diplomatic output in this country has been laced with the edgy aggression of a minor bully punching a kid in the head, while glancing over to see if the alpha bully approves of his work.”

I just want to log this in the annals. We knew climate change was real. We knew there were solutions. We chose to destroy the biosphere for the profits of a tiny minority. Governments & regulatory agencies went along. Sociopathic self-destruction, not need.

So long as the House stays out of session, he’ll keep refusing to seat Rep. Grijalva—the 218th vote on the Epstein files discharge petition. See how desperate they are?

Now the White House doesn’t want to give furloughed workers back pay once the government reopens, even though Trump signed the 2019 law requiring it. Disgraceful.

This was never about deporting criminals. It’s about Stephen Miller’s campaign of ethnic cleansing.

Alberta considers new law allowing it to ignore international agreements signed by Canada | CBC News Alberta Premier Danielle Smith's government says it is planning to introduce legislation that would allow it to ignore international agreements signed by Ottawa.

Presumably on issues under its constitutional jurisdiction, but still audacious.

However, environmental issues are shared jurisdiction, and the treaty-making power belongs to Ottawa and Ottawa alone.

This is quite obviously for political points.

Totally agree. Our car (two-person household) is a 2018 Hyundai Elantra GT (hatchback version, sadly no longer in Elantra lineup) and it's as big a vehicle as we need 99.9% of the time. While I get bigger households may need more capacity for some activities, few really need such behemoths full time
