In that case, the alb fabric is the key. Many of them are polyester and therefore heat/sweat factories. They make cotton ones (which I have), which are wrinklier so people prefer the polyester. I think you can also get linen blend ones? Either way buying your own is expensive, unfortunately!

This is hard. I wonder if you could ask the rector to read MLK’s Letter from a Birmingham Jail, and you’ll read it too, and then have a discussion with them about it? I know priests are busy, but that letter isn’t long, and this is important/urgent enough to raise if you’re comfortable doing so.

I have preached both of these things, have heard at least the former many times while visiting friends’ parishes, AND my bishops are publicly clear on the unacceptability of both of these. I feel very lucky to live in CT!
