I’ve had ppl who themselves were handled rough in the process who, when I experienced injustice in mine, started to lecture about how “it’s not a perfect system, but it’s good for X, Y reasons”

I was aghast

Like I’d assumed the jacket would ameliorate moisture to an extent but its performance is not just as good as synthetic, but better in that it still breathes a bit

Natch fabrics are handling today’s weather (raining, 42F/6C) with aplomb:
Waxed cotton jacket
Wool Stormy Kromer w/ earflaps
Thick woolen flannel pants
Oiled leather boots

The pants and jacket are dry within 30 mins hung in the room. I’m actually surprised

Oh I know to order the sparkling water straight away!

It's, for instance, how I engage the Tracts! I'd take the same posture to attempts to reinstall them in a wholesale way as key for AC identity. There's some really good stuff in there, but miss me with that (though I don't actually know anyone saying this)
