I’m a former grammar/spelling purist who learned how and why that is terrible. However, there are still some words that I hate seeing misused/misspelled, if only because they make me so flipping happy.

Ex: your interest has been ‘piqued,’ not ‘peaked.’ Pique is SUCH a great word; please use it. 🥺

She’s out of anesthesia and in a great mood, happy to see her new friends, and the pain meds are working so I can pick her up this evening! ❤️

She’s out of surgery and did great (“flying colors” was the words the surgeon used), lip came back together nicely (she’ll have a little smirk now 😏), and she’ll probably come home this evening. ❤️

Moxie’s going in for surgery today to remove a melanoma from her cheek. The stem is under the extra-concern size, so prognosis is pretty good right now. Please keep this sweet girl (the sweetest) in your thoughts today. ❤️
