adopting critters is fun because i'm taking people's designs and making them my own... it's like getting to play in a personal space with someone's rules and figuring out how to make it wholly yours

adopts are a weird thing. i like the idea, but there are so many bad pitfalls about them, with people using designs like trading cards to trade up for a "name brand" artists' work, minors exposing personal info via their payment apps, irresponsible spending, aggressive guarding of "original ideas"..

ive been neck deep lately in the fun of character adoption..

i like finding cute designs folks've made and grabbing them with my little pawsies, with a payment of art in exchange.

i think i'm just coping that artfight is in the summer and i crave drawing people's lil' guys......... yompf.

I got to make a Varwolf recently- here's MeteoraBlues! She's a gallery owner and art collector in Maraqua with a slightly tarnished legacy. Dreamboat the Orp is her little purse dog who inhales the hors d'oeuvres while Meteora's attention is elsewhere.

i think i'm allergic to drawing humanoid hands with three fingers and a thumb... cartoon hand anatomy doesn't do it for me unless it's a part of the character design. there's so much flexibility with five digits! you can flip people off! peace signs! devil horns!
