Prime example of white privilege in plain sight.

Black kids get called adults to justify blame, while white adults get called “kids” to excuse their hate. They’re not boys and girls, they’re grown-ass men and women, and the receipts are in writing.

Our nation's federal employees are more than just numbers on a spreadsheet.

They make sure we have clean water.

They protect us from financial fraud.

They provide healthcare to our communities.

They make our government actually work for people.

Do not forget this.

Instead of people saying “illegal immigrants can’t get healthcare and that’s against the law,” I wish more people said “health care is a human right and we need to invest in systems that make sure everyone gets what they need.”

And that’s my story.

It's just a healthcare for kids ban.
It's just a military service ban.
It's just a federal jobs ban.

🚨 ICE disappeared a woman on Wednesday night. She was grabbed by men in plainclothes and taken to an unidentified location.

ICE is refusing to say where she is being held. It’s 72 hours later and not even a dedicated team of lawyers can find her.

This is WRONG. We can’t let this be the new norm.

Today marks 3 years since the Republican-controlled Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade — stripping away a fundamental freedom from millions of Americans.

Abortion has now been banned or restricted in 22 states and counting — putting essential health care out of reach for tens of millions.

I rarely post personal things. But I need to talk about my 4-year-old niece, Hope.

She has a rare disease. A drug called elamipretide has helped her survive.

But the FDA recently denied its approval.

Now, her health hangs in the balance.

Please share her story & urge the FDA to reconsider. 🧵

It should be illegal for law enforcement to wear masks and not show ID.
This makes it too easy to impersonate law enforcement and murder people in their homes.

Even after being illegally fired, our colleagues are still doing the work—creating an incredible, evidence-based dataset showing exactly how CDC budget cuts will gut programs across the country. 📊

That’s dedication. That’s public health. That’s what we lost. 😢

I still can't get past the idea that people in America are now supposed to accept that this is a valid form of law enforcement and just assume it's fine when random dudes in groups with face-coverings, no ID, no warrant, & no uniform grab people off the street and force them into unmarked vehicles

The targeted attack on Minnesota state lawmakers, Sen. John Hoffman and Rep. Melissa Hortman, is absolutely horrific.

Violence like this has no place in a democracy.

I’m praying for their healing, their families, and every public servant who has to wonder if doing their job makes them a target.

Under the proposed White House budget, the NASA Space Grant program would be eliminated.

I was a NASA Space Grant recipient during my Masters—it funded my research on water on Mars.

I then went on to work in science & mission ops on multiple NASA Mars missions immediately after graduation. (1/2)

Trump’s travel ban 2.0 doesn’t make us safer — it punishes people who are already in danger. It targets families fleeing war, persecution, and disaster, denying them a chance at safety and stability. This policy trades compassion and common sense for cruelty and fear.
