Playing LoZ: The Minish Cap for the first time and I’m mad that I didn’t play this sooner.

Note: this does not count for mix-ins. Brownie and a scoop of ice cream? No thank you. A scoop of brownie ice cream? Yes, please.

Apple pie? Warm brownie? Birthday cake? Way better without the addition of a cold plop of ice cream.

The one food hot-take that I have that always gets folks riled up is that I cannot stand eating ice cream with another dessert - especially if the other dessert is warm or hot.

No one told me that a) it would just snow here randomly without warning and b) no one would even care?!

If this little snow shower happened in the south it would be chaos. Grocery stores would be empty. School would get cancelled. I am a fish out of water with this one.

Saw this beautiful mourning dove sitting beneath a bush in the park today. I’m not sure why, but they are one of my favorite birds. I absolutely love hearing their coos.

I started looking at those lull periods as a part of my ADHD “cycle” and it shifted my perspective. I now see it as a half rest, half discovery period where my brain takes its time to process and find new things.

Woke up from a post-thanksgiving nap and ate a pile of ham and apple pie and now I’m ready for a second nap.

I feel the exact same way. Authentic NHC can’t be beat.

Amazon is always my last choice, but I always feel defeated when I get to that point.

Nashville Hot Chicken flavored things have always confused me. So we’re just flavoring things with lard and red pepper flakes now? NHC is an experience, not a flavor imo. NHC as a flavor just hurts my stomach.

Actually, I want to be mad, but I can’t. Because I woke up early, went for a long walk, and took a short, but deep nap.

I know it’s trendy to dunk on live-action remakes of animated films, but like…just say it’s not for you and move on? There are more people than you would think who struggle to relate & connect to animated material.

I know it’s cliché to say, but there really is an energy here that can motivate you and carry you beyond what you’d think possible. I know it’s not for everyone, and it can be overwhelming at first, but if you dig your heels in, this city is indescribably comforting.

Moving to NYC has legitimately changed me in ways that I’ll be trying to figure out for the rest of my life.The confidence and spirit this city has granted me has given me an outlook that’s so hard to describe.

Which deity do I pray to get Cities Skylines and all of its DLC to go on super sale.

My morbid curiosity got the better of me. I went back and flipped it over with a stick to see if I could tell what kind of animal it was. Turns out it’s far more degraded than I expected. Still have no clue what it could be.

My first thought was maybe it was a beloved pet someone wanted to bury on hallowed ground and it was dug up when the fresh mulch was laid, but the skull itself is way too clean to have been buried - almost as if it had been processed and bleached.
