The press refuses to listen. He speaks truth. This "golden age" he's talking about is a return to rule by kings. No democracy. Gold for the few. It's palaces, ballrooms, gilding, child brides, slaving impoverished workers. Gold for those that help him (for a while at least) while most of us suffer.

What if you used the logical exploration of subcondious problem solving to overcome the desire to stay focused on conscious problem solving? Set rules about hours and sleep. Obscess over sticking to those rules to discover if they lead to better outcomes? If only it was that simple... :-)

They think the more you give them the more they are getting for their money, but in the end the more they demand the lower the quality and tge longer it takes to produce good functional work.

I solved problems faster by sleeping on a difficult issue than pushing until it was done. Our minds process data better during rest and sleep without exhaustion and stress. We know this scientifically, but buisiness people who don't use their brains to produce see hours like they are dollars.

Bacl when I coded hospital software I got more done in 6 focused hours per day than other coders putting in 12. The longer and more exhausting my days the less I got done in a week.

People that insist on hour quantity over focus quality don't understand efficiency and how our brains function.

A CO2 monitor that has the number 454 on the display.

In 2013 I posted on-line I was surprised that my outside CO2 reading was up to 385.

In 2020 my reading was 433.

Now in 2025 we are at 454 in my backyard.
