N6LS Antibody Brings Us Closer to Long-Acting HIV Treatment This research marks an exciting step toward making HIV treatment easier and less of a daily burden for millions of people worldwide.

A new long-acting antibody (N6LS) combined with CAB LA could make HIV treatment even simpler—potentially requiring just a few injections per year. Researchers are now exploring even longer dosing intervals. #CROI2025

New Oral Islatravir/Doravirine Regimen Shows Strong Results in Two Phase 3 Studies A new HIV treatment, a once-daily pill, has shown promise in maintaining viral suppression in people living with HIV, according to recent Phase III clinical trials

A new once-daily combination of Islatravir (ISL) and Doravirine (DOR) showed strong efficacy in two Phase 3 studies—one with participants switching from Biktarvy and another from various standard ART regimens.

FFFS. Maybe I'm just particularly grumpy & tired today but stop saying that PEOPLE FAILED. Their treatment failed. Especially when they are on injectables and had all their injections on time. I'm literally flinching each time I hear it.

A Once-Yearly HIV Prevention Shot Could Transform PrEP Access Scientists at CROI 2025 presented new research showing that a single yearly injection of lenacapavir could be just as effective as current methods.

A once-yearly HIV prevention shot? 💉 New research at #CROI2025 shows a single LEN injection could provide year-long protection—potentially transforming PrEP access and adherence.

A New Era in HIV Treatment: Phase 2 Study Shows Promise for Twice-Yearly Injections Researchers from Yale University have been investigating a novel combination therapy involving lenacapavir and two broadly neutralizing antibodies.

🚀 A new era in HIV treatment? I’m still skeptical, but a Phase 2 study shows twice-yearly LEN + bNAbs (TAB & ZAB) kept 96% virally suppressed for 26 weeks—potential alternative to daily ART.

RIO Study Suggests Antibodies Could Offer a Break from Daily HIV Treatment Long-acting antibodies could allow some people with HIV to stay off daily antiretroviral therapy (ART) for extended periods.

🚀 Long-acting antibodies as an alternative to daily HIV treatment?

The RIO study at #CROI2025 shows that 75% of participants on two broadly neutralizing antibodies (bNAbs) stayed virally suppressed without daily ART for 20+ weeks—some for over a year!
