June 5 is HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day, so I'm celebrating the fact that I have now been living with #HIV for 34 years, having been told I'd only live 5. I'm incredibly grateful for 28 years of effective treatment, which means I'm healthy and can't pass on the virus. #HLTSAD #UequalsU

Meeting the specific challenges of people with multiple intersecting needs and inequalities is crucial in #GettingToZero. Juddy references the @onevoicenetwork.bsky.social #UnheardVoices report as key to delivering the #HIVOutcomes recommendations.

The @hivoutcomes.bsky.social report makes a range of recommendations based on key principles, to safeguard the voluntary sector so that we have a real chance to achieve the 2030 goals of ending #HIV transmissions and #stigma.

The new @hivoutcomes.bsky.social report highlights the crisis facing #HIV voluntary sector organisations. Over the last three years, most had to cut staff and programmes and were unable to fully meet the needs of people living with HIV.

#BHIVA25 exploring the challenges and opportunities of collaborating with GPs to deliver the best care for people with and at risk of #HIV in primary care. Updating GPs knowledge will be key to getting them to consider #HIV prevention, testing and care.

Great to hear of new guidelines for anal cancer screening for people with #HIV. Recommended screening for all aged 45, at 35 for key groups, including gay/bi men and trans women. Early screening allows for early detection and potential to treat effectively. #BHIVA25

Prof Caroline Sabin emphasises the impact that social determinants of health have on cognitive health and well-being. Medical assessments have their place, but finding out whether people's basic needs are met is crucial. #BHIVA25

Reassuring data on ways of preventing dementia by addressing risk factors and making lifestyle changes. Physical function and environment are key, as is good quality sleep. #BHIVA25
