Our website has massively improved since Labour for Hertsmere were elected to run the council in 2023. We still have work to do to use plain english in some older web pages as well as adding AI search. You can see how our website score has improved below.

During the day we took part in discussions and round tables about how councils are using AI to help members of the public answer questions about our services as well as the importance of content managememt to help simplify the language used on our website.

We have also updated our internal intranet website to be more modern and better help our staff find relevant information.

We were here to share the work we have carried out to upgrade the Hertsmere website to a modern, accessable and decentralised content ownership model. Hertsmere were first to upgrade to the latest version.

Today I attended the Contensis Velocity event in my role as Cabinet Member for IT and Digital Transformation alongside Lee Gallagher, Hertsmere's Head of Customer Experience and Digital Transformation.
