@timmiller.bsky.social I have had better and worse days but this is the 1st time I feel myself questioning my resilience to this craziness. Seeing Kirk’s murder proudly weaponized against and dehumanizing a large segment of our citizenry. Today's VP podcast was grotesque. So many cheering people.

Am I being crazy in thinking/comparing these new ICE camps to those proposed during the Obama era by right-wing conspiracy theories about FEMA camps being built? In that one was fictional and the other seems to be happening documented on Cable News and those same people are now missing?

I get it: you are playing to the conservative side of your constituents becouse you are betting the liberal side will still show up regardless of the political choices you are making. I promise you that is a bad bet.

Films Watched Update. Many great projects, a few interesting but flawed, and only 1 absolutely terrible.

Even with attempting a good faith approach to this tariff situation, the White House lacks sufficient resources and staff to manage the enormous amount of negotiations associated with tariffing the entire world in any meaningful or expedited way.

To be an adolescence again & have those discovering for the first time feelings, “This can be that?!” Before you know all the formulas & had built up all the experiences of comparison. The innocence of discovering art for the first time where it washes over you without any baggage to the experience.

Why would he take the tariffs away? I was told tariffs would make me richer than I can imagine. Now they are paused? That’s weird. I want the tariffs that promised me richness. Otherwise, the tariffs are bullshit.

Many Original Films have been released to Cinemas in the last 30 days, but attendance has been very low, but the Minecraft Film this weekend brought in a 157 Million dollar box office. People seem to only care about seeing movies they already know.
