The Bus Riders Union is a coalition of community members across the Kansas City metro led by bus riders. We are organizing to fight for equitable freedom of movement by advocating for the diverse needs of bus riders through holding decision-makers accountable. We affirm the right of all to access frequent, reliable, and safe buses, ensuring a connected community.
SAVE THESE DATES: Feb. 20: Bus Riders Union Launch & Canvass - Official launch rally and canvass to invite bus riders to join. Feb. 21: Bus Rider Testimony Workshop - Learn how to craft a powerful budget testimony demanding full bus funding. Feb. 23, Mar. 2, & Mar. 7: KC Budget Hearings - Use those testimonies to fight for a fully-funded Bus system at City Hall.
