I have many feelings about the Senate Dems CR vote over the weekend, but one unequivocally POSITIVE thing which the whole shutdown saga achieved was to place healthcare & the #ACA *squarely* back into the top of the public's mind *AND* to cause Republicans to once again touch the healthcare stove.

And that Black people only get in positions of power due to DEI.

White men are only 29% of the US population, but under Trump they are 100% of the senior Pentagon leadership as Pete Hegseth purges women and Black people. They want us to believe that white men are the only people in America who are qualified to lead.

When MAGA blame Democrats for no SNAP benefits, tell them that the Republican president is going to the Supreme Court to make sure SNAP benefits are withheld.

It sucks and pisses you off. BUT Republicans were never going to negotiate. Democrats are forcing their hand. They have shown that Republicans are willing to starve Americans while throwing lavish parties at Mar-A-lago and the White House. Dems need to invest in this messaging.

What did the shutdown accomplish? It made everyone aware every shutdown day that the reason millions of working people won’t be getting healthcare is because of Trump & the GOP. It made people aware that the GOP is willing to starve Americans as a tactic to keep other people from getting healthcare.
