That's what I'd like to showcase On Here, even if it means us ALX folk suddenly have to care even more about our neighboring jurisdictions’ policies than we want to.

But I'll confess that I'm quoting yourself back to you a little — citing that, to paraphrase "all my friends keep having to move miles and miles further from here."

I appreciate that people from this area can be anywhere else a few years later. They're not as relevant to this.

That's not one hard-and-fast rule.

But I think it's much more humane than telling someone who had to move out to someplace nearby in FFX that they've also lost a bunch of their audience of friends because they're no longer On Here.

Moving time zones is kind of another thing.

An important question to ask.

While I love trying to keep it local, I also know: Not everyone who wants to (& should) live within the exact borders of ALX can fit into here at the moment.

I'd advocate a policy that includes the people who are in/near our area — and the ones who continue to engage.
