I recapped mine and replaced the voltage pot, but apparently I did a dumb. Now every contact on game PCBs is now a little spicy to the touch when everything is powered off (smart plug) but still plugged in.

I didn't have a problem with the bomb level as a kid, but levels 3 and 4 were hard for me. IIRC I only reached Mouser at the end of level 4 once.

Probably some combination of costs: servers have to be updated for security and API deprecations, some legacy staff has to remember how to update it (they're not going to train anyone new on Stadia stuff), etc. Maybe after the deadline, it remains up until it requires work they're unwilling to fund.

Braid. I had planned to sit out the 360/PS3 because the big-budget games looked like more of the same from the last generation. Outside of some innovative waggle on the Wii, Braid was the first game of the generation that looked truly novel to me.

Agree that throwing up our hands isn’t helping.

But it’s like climate change: the benefits of ignoring the danger are concentrated, but the costs are diffuse. You can sway your federal government, but not all governments, and not all private investors/businesses.
