Watched the new Naked Gun tonight. When it originally came out I wasn’t interested. Do movies need to be constantly remade? Plus, all due respect to Liam Neeson, but I didn’t see him in the role.

I was pleasantly surprised. Well played Mr Neeson, it was quite funny. 😄

Yeah. I told the bf he has been diagnosed with a case of “old” lol. I can see the cat is in his twilight years. But he’s still enjoying life.

Well, not only is Sushi still with us but he jumped up on the bar this morning to beg for food (not as nimbly as when he was young, but hey). The vet also called and said all his bloodwork and urine look good. He’s right at the top range of thyroid values but for an old dude he’s looking good

Sushi’s also 16-ish … he’s at least 16 but since vets often estimate low he’s probably older. For all we know this cats is like 25, so I know I’ll bawl my eyes out whenever it does happen but he’s had a really good life with us (and he will continue to for however long he has left)

He wants to go outside and move around, if slowly. But he’s been sleeping a lot and is not really himself. And he’s old. At least 14, probably older. I got bloodwork and urinalysis at the vet Friday so I mean, at this point I can’t do anything but pet him and tell him he’s a good kitty.)

Sushi has been moving very slowly today. Bf said he had the terrible thought that today was his last day and tbh it kind of freaked me out bc I’d had the same thought earlier 😬

Here’s hoping my cat’s still around tomorrow …

I thought I was really going to regret my decision to have a drink last night while still feeling sick, but actually I slept pretty well and feel much better today so I suppose it worked out.

Taylor Swift generally seems to be in the news for positive things she’s done which for someone of her level of fame seems both unusual and admirable.

Do you ever feel like you’re shaking inside? I don’t mean nerves. But like, when you’re sick. I feel shaky, like my body should be quivering but I’m not. It’s an entirely internal feeling. I don’t like it

Vet appointment for another cat (with a different vet lol) also took way longer than it really should have this morning. I feel better than I did Wednesday but that doesn’t mean I actually feel good.

Also that cat cost me $500 that I don’t have right now so yay.

I must be hungry, because I read something about crumpets and now I’m looking up crumpet recipes.

At the vet with Juni. Appt was at 7:30. Still sitting here at 8:00. Things happen and normally it wouldn’t bother me that much but today I feel like utter crap and just want to get this done and go home
