Is it egotistical to reread my own fics? A long time ago I read that you should write what you want to read and sometimes I do just want to reread my own stories

What’s especially great here is that I wrote “the English” because I initially said “the English language” but the the post was too long so I took the word language out but didn’t correct the rest of that sentence 😂

I was reading about the English being confusing and it reminded me of my sister’s FIL who made a comment about Kansas and Ar-Kansas and both she and her husband said “actually it’s ar-kan-saw” and her FIL was like “what? Why?” And I’m pretty sure they just shrugged and were like “English, amiright?”

I let my cat Grimora lick the leftover egg yolk from my plate so she always stares at me while I eat, waiting (im)patiently for me to finish.

So anyway, when I was done I set my plate on the floor. Grimmy sat on the coffee table glaring at me … so naturally I moved the plate. 😂

We watched Fackham Hall tonight and I was crying laughing. 🤣

Yep! He likes to make up songs about the cats mostly, but sometimes it’s just crazy lyrics about whatever he’s doing and he cracks me up

Also I would like to thank my bf who enjoys making up silly songs and last night was singing “and I’m feeling fine, because I am feline” and now I keep humming that to myself

Daily dose of cat. This is Stilton, Gouda’s brother (they are both cheeses, incidentally, because Cheese brought them home as babies. Which was a bit of a surprise since Cheese is male, but cheers to good father figures, whether feline or otherwise)

I’ve said thank you several times already but thank you again because it really is a relief to apply the gofundme transfers to the credit card I used for Gouda’s surgery!

Did the world - and especially the US - fall into an episode of The Twilight Zone? How do we get out?

Gouda is banging around in the bathroom and on the one hand I want her to not be miserable and play some but on the other hand she is supposed to remain sedate so that, you know, her PINNED TOGETHER BONES can heal and all.

Juni (cat up front) is mine now, after 12 weeks of FIP treatment (plus time to get the diagnosis). These other two cats? Not mine. Not that you’d know that by how comfy they are on the love seat 😂

Oh, we also got free beer if we wanted it. And wine, actually! I’d never tried Fitwine but their prosecco was really good. But you can’t leave with that and I was excited about the cans I got to take home (they gave me one of every flavor they had so it was more than just two lol)
