• Who is overseeing these facilities?

Detention at this scale is not just an immigration issue.

It’s a civil liberties issue. It’s a due-process issue. It’s a human rights issue.

History shows that when governments build large detention systems, the definition of who belongs there can expand.

Policies change. Standards shift.

And once the infrastructure exists, it can be used in ways the public never imagined when it was first proposed.

At our recent Visibility Brigade, our message was clear. ICE CAMPS KILL.

D H S has been scouting large warehouse sites across that can detain thousands of people at once. These facilities are larger than many federal prisons.

We are not the first people, or the first country, to suffer under a tyrannical government that does not respect our lives, or our rights.

There is a method for how to effectively resist, and eventually topple, such a regime. We can learn from others who came before us.

This is my favorite guide.

There is video circulating on social media of a group of ICE agents beating a man near 26th and Nicollet in south Minneapolis, then one of the ICE agents shoots the man while he's on the ground numerous times. A witness can be heard yelling that the victim is dead.

ICE has now carried out two summary executions of innocent people in the streets of an American city.

If you work for ICE, there's no denying that's the mission you're supporting now. You don't get to claim in one year or ten or twenty that you didn't know what ICE was doing. You're complicit.

RED ALERT. ALL HANDS ON DECK.
