That the life of Jesus Christ is Day One. That is but the start of it. It also tells us the authors were raised to be scribes. It’s a Midrash that shows Hebrew is generating the gospel, a look the way Levites memorized and taught Torah, for it is also in the motivating theology of Qumran’s Yachad.

The first nugget is that I’ve discerned the fourth gospel opens with an interpretive complex I call “the Light-Adam Midrash” (AWR-ADM) which was priestly in its origins. This is a Midrash on the letter Aleph attaching to DBR (Word) to create light (AWR), & attaching to the “mute” one to create ADM.

It is difficult to know what to be on social for these days. The past two years, my attention has been in the book I am writing: #ArchitectofCreation, which is a book interpreting the gospel of St. John through its design. Contemplating posting nuggets I’ve learned along the way.

With a quiet, moderated voice, measured cadence, and downcast eyes, Johnson will gladly facilitate the disintegration of our government.

If this is how this administration responds to a Senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to farmworkers, to cooks, and to day laborers throughout California and across the country.

We will hold this administration accountable.

Jerusalem awake in the 🪔 lights of the Shavuot festival. The streets are filled with people, and upper rooms are filled with Torah discussions and feasting.

An excerpt on Pentecost from my book in progress:

“In the early first century, the feast was a glorious annual convocation in Jerusalem for the Torah-commanded presentation of ‘firstfruits’ from the early summer wheat harvest,…”

Makes me think of the Rabbinic observation that the word Emet holds the extremities of the Creation Week Poem. The deceiver wants to create a world for his victim, an island of self-validated truth, but God already created humanity with an “Us” of solidarity (Gen. 1:27). Emet will outlast the island

As he defies the Supreme Court, undermines due process rights, and orders the DOJ to investigate political opponents, we are witnessing the sprint to autocracy right before our eyes.

Here is the situation if I’m understanding it correctly:

1. They are deporting lawful immigrants erroneously to prisons overseas

2. They are claiming no recourse to return these individuals

3. They say they are open to deporting citizens in the same way

Okay now Sens. Cory Booker and Chris Coons (a Yale Divinity School grad) are literally just having a lengthy discussion of scripture and the Bible on the Senate floor right now.

Religious left: still a thing.
