Betty and Veronica are getting dressed in a changing room. An inhuman round face appears in the transom above the door. "IIK!" shrieks Veronica, while Betty gets to the root of the percieved problem: "UN VOYEUR!"

A mostly offscreen character stands with their hand on the back of another character, who wears a big frown. The back pat has red lines radiating from it, and the sound it makes is a sickening "SPLAT." A circle with smaller circles inside, and occasional breaks so it's like a maze. The outer layer is all green, and the green seems to be seeping through the holes until it is pressed up against the yellow-orange in the center. The text reads "CONSOLIDATE YOUR LAYERS"

I'm not saying jello molds and trumpets and fruitcakes eat rabbit, but somehow it's related: waiting for the "you" that isn't coming. Have you seen these things? Tell me what you know! Gracias. End/

"Ho ho," says the farmer, "This must be a magic stump. This rabbit will be delicious." And then every day after that, for the rest of his life, the farmer goes out into the woods, sits on the stump, and waits for more food to appear.

It seems there was this farmer who went out to hunt for his dinner. He's walking through the woods, &sits down on this stump. He says to himself, "I wish I had something to eat," and at that exact second, a rabbit runs at full-speed out of the woods, bonks its head on the stump, and falls down dead.

When I got home I did some light research that I only half remember and found out that "still waiting for you" is maybe loosely based on a Japanese folk tale called "The Magic Stump." After I read about the Magic Stump I stopped researching and smiled for a long time. It's really great.

"STILL WAITING FOR YOU" is the genre (?) when the characters (or personified types of bread or pastry or musical instruments) sit like that. I think I paid $4 for this sad jello mold that's about the size of my thumbnail, and I really liked it, but didn't understand it at all. 2/

Anyone know the story of this sad little jello mold?
I'll tell you all I know. I was in SF last summer and we went into this store that was just vending machines that sold tiny toys. A bunch of the toy lines were different characters, or foods or objects in this same hunched-over position. 1/

Hell yeah, The Terror!

Abstract cutout shapes and fruit and pieces of metal. A sculpted metal mask in the center with a ball (or fruit) nose and cutout horns sticking out of the top. I made this out of a catalog containing 2 very different but both famous artists, Miro, maybe, and someone else. I can't remember. Anyway, it looks fantastic.
